Pathery does not collect your data. There is no server that receives your entries, no database of what you enter, and no way for anyone at Pathery to read it.
They are saved on your device only. Pathery keeps your entries in your browser’s local storage, so you can come back to them later.
They are cleared after seven days without a visit. You do not need to do anything. To remove them sooner, clear your browsing data for this site in your browser settings.
When your entries are cleared, Pathery keeps one thing for thirty days: the date they went, and which tool they belonged to, so it can tell you they have cleared. It holds none of your words.
On a shared device, clear your browser data when you finish. Until they are cleared, anyone else using the same device and browser could open Pathery and see your entries.
Pathery does not ask who you are. It sets no cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other websites.
Cloudflare hosts Pathery and sends its pages to your browser. It keeps brief records of each request, including your IP address, to run the site and protect it from attack, and counts page visits without cookies or any way to identify you. It never receives anything you enter, because your entries stay on your device.
Everything else the site needs, including its typefaces, comes from Pathery itself. No other company is told that you visited.
Giving your email address is entirely optional. Pathery works fully without it, and nothing on the site is withheld if you choose not to.
What is collected. Your email address and the date you signed up. Nothing else. You are not asked for your name, and you are never asked why you are using Pathery.
What it is used for. Occasional notes about Pathery itself: new tools as they are released, and significant changes to the site. Roughly once a month, and often less.
Your consent is needed, and Pathery cannot send you these notes without it. After you enter your address you will receive one email asking you to confirm. If you do not confirm, your address is deleted and you hear nothing further.
It will not be used for anything else. It will not be used to market anything other than Pathery, it will not be sold, and it will not be passed to any third party for their own marketing.
It is never linked to your entries. This is not a promise but a structural fact: your entries are never sent to Pathery, so there is nothing to link them to.
You can opt out at any time, free of charge. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, or you can email hello@pathery.app and ask to be removed. Your address is then deleted rather than flagged.
Where it is stored. The list is held by Buttondown, a newsletter service based in the United States, which processes it on Pathery’s behalf and does not use it for its own purposes.
How long it is kept. Until you unsubscribe. Unconfirmed addresses are deleted after 30 days.
Therapists can create an account to be told when the portal opens. Pathery stores that address, along with the dates the account was created and last used. It is held by Supabase in Singapore, and the sign-in emails are delivered by Resend; both process it on Pathery’s behalf, and Resend keeps a record of each delivery for thirty days. You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@pathery.app.
Pathery is intended for adults and is not designed for children.
Paid modules and exercise links come later in the year. What you enter will still never be sent to Pathery, and this policy will be updated as each piece arrives. The date at the top always shows when it was last updated.
